ಪುರಸಭೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ: ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯು 1959 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾಯಿತು ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರುನಿಂದ ಹೈದಾರಬಾದ್ ಹೋಗುವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ-7 ರ ಮದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದೆ ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ 34 ಕೀ.ಮೀ. ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 2001 ರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ 23,406 ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 23 ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 23 ಕೌನ್ಸಲರ್ ಗಳಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮೈಸೂರು ಹುಲಿ ಎಂದೇ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ಟಿಪ್ಪು ಸುಲ್ತಾನರು ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು.ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದ ವೇಣುಗೋಪಾಲಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವಿದ್ದು ಜಾತ್ರೆಯಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಜನಸಾಗರವೇ ಹರಿದುಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟೀಯ ವಿಮಾನನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದ 6.5 ಕೀ.ಮೀ.ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ

Brief Note about to Devanahalli TMC:- Tippu sultan was born,the birth place now comes under Archeological department.The Devanahalli Fort also now comes under the Archeological department. The town has the Famous Venugopala swamy temple,having Jewelry worth, which is only the second richest in Karnataka.The Nandi Hills stand at 20kms NW of the town. The New International Airport is just 6.5 km from the town and there is a proposal for development of hardware park . |
